Geneva Initiative: Geneva Accord Annexes

The Geneva Accord, created in December 2003, represents the only detailed and comprehensive draft agreement for final status between Israel and the Palestinians. No other detailed agreement has been proposed before or since, a fact that refl ects the general consensus that if and when an agreement is signed, it will look very much like the Geneva Accord.
This September, almost six years after the Geneva Accord was created, the same group of Israelis and Palestinians will complete the annexes to some of the major elements of that accord. Technical and professional in nature, the annexes complement the Geneva Accord by adding to it detailed and professional instructions on how to implement its various chapters.
In Prague representatives of Geneva Initiative will present this work, focusing on a number of specific annexes, including the ones on the role of the multinational presence in the region, the solution to the water problems, the practical mechanism in Jerusalem and the border regime between Israel and Palestine. The representatives will also present a new regional component that situates the Geneva Accord within the regional framework of the Arab Peace Initiative.
